Multi-Category Portfolio
Hair, scalp, and skincare products needed to feel connected without losing the distinct role of each product.
CHEWA · Herbal Beauty & Personal Care
CHEWA is a Thai herbal beauty brand offering hair, scalp, and skincare products inspired by local ingredients and traditional botanical knowledge. Our goal was to transform these strengths into modern, easy-to-understand content designed for today’s beauty consumers.
02 · Project Overview
CHEWA offers a diverse portfolio covering different stages of personal care, including Herbal Shampoo, Herbal Conditioner, Herbal Hair Tonic, and Silk & Hya Face Booster Serum.
Each product had its own ingredients, benefits, usage instructions, and customer pain points. Communicating every detail independently, however, risked making the brand feel fragmented and difficult for customers to understand.
We developed a unified content and visual direction that connected all four products under one clear idea: daily care that begins with the hair, continues to the scalp, and extends to the skin.
Scope of Work
03 · Challenge
The project required a clear communication hierarchy across hair, scalp, and skincare while keeping herbal storytelling modern, concise, compliant, and conversion-ready.
Hair, scalp, and skincare products needed to feel connected without losing the distinct role of each product.
Herbal products could easily appear traditional or similar to competitors, requiring a more contemporary premium identity.
Customers needed to clearly understand cleansing, conditioning, scalp care, and facial hydration as different steps.
Botanical stories needed to remain useful and educational without becoming overly technical or text-heavy.
Paid creatives needed to communicate benefits, usage, size, pricing, and calls to action within compact mobile-first layouts.
Hair and scalp messaging needed to avoid exaggerated medical, hair-growth, or hair-loss treatment claims.
04 · Strategy
We kept CHEWA’s traditional botanical knowledge at the center of the brand while presenting it through contemporary beauty communication, clear routines, and mobile-first content.
Traditional ingredients were paired with beauty-editorial visuals, clean typography, premium lighting, and concise modern messaging.
Shampoo handled cleansing, conditioner supported softness and manageability, hair tonic focused on scalp care, and serum supported facial hydration.
Litsea glutinosa, butterfly pea, ginger, silk sericin, and hyaluronic acid were translated into short consumer-friendly benefit stories.
Content was structured around awareness, education, consideration, and conversion so each creative supported a different stage of the buying journey.
Short headlines, visible product packs, and adaptable layouts supported 4:5 single-image ads and 1:1 carousel content.
05 · Execution
We developed product education, ingredient stories, routine content, pain-point communication, conversion messaging, and campaign creatives within one consistent visual system.
Campaign Angles
Hero Products
CHEWA’s visual direction centered on deep green, warm ivory, natural botanical tones, and champagne gold. Close-up model photography, flowing hair, translucent glass elements, and premium product hero shots helped create a contemporary beauty identity while varied headline positions and camera angles prevented the campaign from becoming repetitive.
06 · Results
The project moved CHEWA from individual product communication toward one cohesive beauty brand experience connecting Thai herbal knowledge, modern daily routines, and clear reasons to purchase.
The four-product portfolio was organized into one connected daily-care routine spanning hair, scalp, and skin.
Each product gained its own customer pain point, communication angle, and role within the routine.
CHEWA’s herbal positioning became more contemporary and relevant to modern beauty consumers.
Ingredient and community stories became easier to understand without relying on lengthy technical explanations.
Educational and conversion-focused communication could work together within the same campaign ecosystem.
The brand gained ad-ready concepts covering awareness, education, routines, ingredient value, and hard-sell communication.
Packaging presentation, color direction, typography, and messaging were aligned to strengthen brand recognition.
The creative system created a foundation for paid-media campaigns, website content, and future product landing pages.
